To Obtain a Visa at the Embassy of Jordan, Washington D.C. one must submit:

  1. Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months prior to time travel;
  2. Application form (click here to download);
  3. For business trips, a letter from employer stating the purpose of trip;
  4. For diplomatic or official visas (No Fee) - a letter of request from department;
  5. Money Order payable to the Embassy of Jordan;
  6. A self-addressed pre-paid envelope to return your passport;

Visa processing takes approximately 5 business days for U.S. Citizens. Citizens of the United States and countries of Western Europe could be issued visas upon arrival at the airport in Amman-Jordan.
