ITG has been highly active in the European, North African, and Middle Eastern markets, providing end-to-end IT solutions and services. This time they strike another success story with the launch of its comprehensive e-learning Platform, EduWave™.

It all started in 1999 when ITG recognized the vast potential in the Global e-learning industry, and the critical need for learning management systems that were comprehensive and that could handle large-scale, country-wide deployments.

Inline with that realization, the company’s R&D department started its thorough research of the educational sector’s needs, as well as the technologies that would best align with their educational objectives.

Success materialized almost immediately when ITG signed its first EduWave Deployment Agreement at Home, with the Jordanian Ministry of Education in January 2003. EduWave was ready to be used, countrywide, by 1.2 million users in Jordan’s 3,200 public schools, rendering it as the largest single deployment worldwide. Later that year, ITG made another solid footstep in the path of success through signing an EduWave agreement with two school districts in the state of New Jersey in the U.S. As such, starting February 2004, 6000 students, teachers and administrators in NJ started using EduWave as their official e-learning platform, resulting in excitement about the excellent abilities of EduWave, as expressed by the NJ users. And, in the most recent development on its EduWave deployment news, in June 2004, ITG was awarded a major contract by the Ministry of Education in Bahrain, according to which EduWave will be deployed, countrywide, to serve a quarter of a million users in the Kingdom’s public schools.

Another important recognition for ITG came in December 2003, when EduWave received the UN World Summit Award, after being selected from over 800 products from 135 countries.
