Sustainable Design & Construction Conference

The Conference aims to bring together key stakeholders in the design & construction industry in Jordan and the region to encourage greater understanding of the challenges faced by the rapidly growing construction industry and raise awareness of sustainable design & construction issues; in order to direct investments into efficient, cost effective and sustainable buildings that will reduce the use of non-renewable resources and minimize environmental impact during the entire lifecycle of the building.

Conference Objectives:

• To bring together major stakeholders to raise & enhance awareness of sustainable design and construction.
• To provide an opportunity for key stakeholders to share local and regional knowledge & expertise.
• To encourage the adoption of efficient & sustainable designs and green buildings
• To identify practical and achievable sustainable design and construction practices and techniques
• To develop an action plan for implementation of sustainable buildings, construction practices, technologies and supportive legislation.
